Itinerary
Make an early start with an early morning pick-up from select hotels in central Split and soak up the scenery on the journey to Plitvice. On arrival at the Plitvice Lakes National Park, follow your licenced guide on a thrilling hike along the boardwalks, stopping to take photos of the park’s glittering lakes, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic canyons. Start with a walk around the Upper Lakes (Gornja Jezera), where you can get up close to native wildlife and enjoy dazzling views over the lakes. Then, hop aboard a sightseeing boat for a cruise around the Lower Lakes (Donja Jezera) and pass by the awe-inspiring Veliki Slap waterfall, which towers over 255 feet (78 meters). Finally, tuck into a tasty Croatian-style lunch at a local restaurant (optional; own expense) before hopping back in the minivan and setting out on the return journey. End your tour with drop-off at your hotel.
